The Exploits Valley Salmon Festival is a vibrant annual celebration held in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador, since 1985. This five-day event, scheduled for July 10–14, 2025, offers a diverse lineup of music, food, and community activities, attracting visitors from across the region.

While Grand Falls-Windsor currently lacks organized food and drink tours, the broader Newfoundland and Labrador region offers a variety of culinary experiences that could inspire similar initiatives locally. Here are some notable examples:​

The Codfather Night

(July 10): A culinary kickoff featuring a codfish supper prepared by renowned chefs, with music by Jesse Hackett and his band.

The Rowdyman Pub Crawl

(July 13): A spirited evening inspired by Pinsent’s film The Rowdyman, offering live music across five local pubs with included transportation.

Babar Family Fun Afternoon

(July 13): A family-friendly day at Gorge Park with bouncy castles, a scavenger hunt, mascot appearances, and live music.

Grand Falls-Windsor Day

(July 14): A celebration featuring games, snacks, horse rides, and performances by local artists, culminating with The Ennis Sisters.
