Today, I had the privilege of attending an informative session hosted by CBDC and the Exploits Chamber of Commerce, unveiling their ambitious new three-year Economic Development initiative—Invest Exploits. The enthusiasm in the room was palpable, and I couldn’t agree more with the vision for our community’s growth.
As part of this groundbreaking initiative, my focus for the past five days has been diligently updating and enhancing the 448 business listings on Exploits Connect. While it’s undoubtedly a time-consuming process, witnessing the platform evolve and contribute to the economic fabric of our region is truly rewarding.
Amidst the data entry marathon, I took a moment to introduce a valuable feature: the Chamber Membership badge. Last night, it found its place on the platform, symbolizing the unity of local businesses within the Exploits Chamber of Commerce. Soon, the Invest Exploits partnership badge will join the ranks. CBDC is actively seeking support from local businesses, along with contributions from ACOA, the Provincial government, and our dedicated local municipalities.
