With over 35 years of experience in Newfoundland & Labrador, we have evolved from a single location in 2013 to an expansive network of eleven facilities across the province, employing a dedicated team of 110+ staff.

At Pro-Mech Services LTD., we prioritize the environmental impact of our operations. Our facilities are meticulously designed to surpass the standards set by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, as evident in our Certificate of Approval. In Foxtrap, our solid-surface processing facility is a testament to our commitment to responsible recycling. Covering an extensive concrete pad of 32,374 sq/m at 25.4 cm thick, it ensures the prevention and containment of any potential spillage during the metal recycling process. The facility boasts a 10,000L double-walled waste oil storage tank, and our comprehensive three-step interceptor system ensures that all water leaving the property is clean.

In 2019, we furthered our commitment to environmental sustainability by investing in a state-of-the-art metal shredder. This strategic move not only reduced our greenhouse gas emissions but also contributed to the local economy by centralizing all metal processing within the province. Over 1,400 tractor trailer loads and two freight-liners of crushed metal per year are now processed, shredded, separated, and shipped worldwide directly from our Port of Argentia.
