In 1994, Compassion HomeCare commenced its journey as a small home-based business in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. The Noel family, known for their integrity, work ethic, and professional expertise, steered the business's growth into becoming one of the largest and most respected Home Care Agencies in Newfoundland and Labrador. To enhance their workforce, a government-approved Home Support Worker Training Program was established, prioritizing continuing education and client/staff safety.

Setting a precedent in the Home Care Sector, Compassion HomeCare advocated for elevated standards, quality, and improved working conditions and wages for employees. Branches were established over the years to extend their reach:

• 1995: A branch office in Bay Roberts to serve Conception Bay North.
• 1996: A branch office in Marystown for the rural area of Burin Peninsula.
• 1998: The St. John’s office moved to its present location at 255 LeMarchant Rd., St. John’s.
• 2006: Awarded "national accreditation status" by The Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation (CCHSA).
• 2009: Expanded to Corner Brook to serve Western NL.
• 2010: Further expansion to Gander to service Central NL.
• November 2011: Extended services to the Clarenville area.
• 2016: Opened an office in Grand Falls/Windsor.
• April 2018: Expanded services on the west coast with an office in Deer Lake.
• June 2018: Achieved Primer Accreditation Status with Accreditation Canada, scoring 94% against national standards.
• September 2018: Extended services with the opening of the 9th office in Paradise.
• August 2019: Opened the 10th office in Harbour Grace.
• November 2020: Achieved Accreditation with Commendation status with a 96% score.
• July 2021: GFW office relocated to 28B Cromer Avenue, enhancing service delivery.
• January 1st, 2023: Opened the 11th office in St. Anthony, extending services to Labrador Grenfell Health Authority.
